Your day begins early with an unforgettable sunrise at Machu Picchu. After you are picked up at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, you will board the bus that will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu. You will arrive just in time to watch the first rays of sunlight bathe the ancient ruins in golden light, creating a truly magical atmosphere. This early moment offers the perfect opportunity to take photographs and appreciate the beauty and mystery of this wonder of the world.

Once the sun has fully risen, you will begin your guided tour of Machu Picchu with our expert local guide. This temple was a place of worship, where priests and nobles performed rituals to honor the sun. As you walk through the ruins of the temple, you can admire the impressive architecture and the remains of the gold-covered walls that reflected the Incas’ devotion to the sun.

End of  the tour: 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The city tour ends between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., leaving you plenty of time to return to your hotel and relax. You will have the rest of the afternoon free to explore Cusco on your own, whether strolling through its charming streets, visiting its squares, shopping at local markets, or relaxing in one of its many cafés.

Rainbow Mountain Hike

Today we will bevisitng the famous Rainbow Mountain of Peru, leaving Cusco at 4:30 a.m. to make sure we are the first to arrive and enjoy the place without crowds or distractions. The bus ride will be comfortable, our first stop will be at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy breakfast included in the price.

After refueling, we will continue our journey for about two more hours until we reach the start of the hike to Rainbow Mountain. The hike, which has a moderate level of difficulty, will take us to this magical place, famous for its vibrant colors and breathtaking scenery.

Once at the top, you will have time to admire the panoramic views and take pictures of this unique natural wonder. After enjoying the Rainbow Mountain, we will return by the same route, and arrive at the restaurant for lunch (lunch included). Finally, we will take the transportation back to Cusco, where you will arrive around 4:00 p.m at your hotel, so you can rest after an incredible day.

The Walking Tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and it will last approximately 3 hours. We will start at the San Pedro Market, one of the most traditional places in Cusco, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture. You will be able to explore the stalls and, if you wish, buy souvenirs or try some local products.

Afterwards, we will head to the Inca Museum, where you will learn more about the history and rich cultural heritage of the Incas. The museum houses a fascinating collection of pre-Columbian artifacts, ceramics, textiles, objects and mummies, from the daily life of this civilization, allowing you to better understand the historical context of the region.

Finally, the tour will conclude at the Plaza de Armas, the heart of Cusco. This emblematic square is surrounded by beautiful colonial buildings.

Our Humantay Lake excursion begins early in the morning, departing from Cusco around 4:30 a.m. to make the most of the day and arrive early at this stunning natural wonder. The bus ride takes approximately 2.5 hours, during which you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the Andean valleys and mountains. Our first stop is at a local restaurant in the village of Mollepata, where you will enjoy a light breakfast before beginning the hike.

After a refreshing breakfast, you will continue your journey through the picturesque Andes, with rolling hills, snow-capped peaks in the distance, and charming rural villages along the way.

The hike to Lake Humantay

Once you arrive at the starting point of the hike, the adventure truly begins. The hike to Lake Humantay takes between 1.5 and 2 hours each way and is considered moderately difficult. The trail winds through beautiful mountainous terrain, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Andean peaks, valleys, and glaciers.

As you ascend, you will pass through mountain meadows, lush forests, and streams, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the region. The further you go, the more majestic the views become, with imposing snow-capped mountains such as Humantay watching over the area.

Arrival at Lake Humantay

Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Lake Humantay, a crystal-clear turquoise body of water located beneath the imposing Humantay Glacier. The view of the blue lake surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks is absolutely mesmerizing.

Descent and lunch in Mollepata.

After spending some time at the lake and enjoying the views, we will begin our descent back to the starting point. The return hike is easier, as we descend through the same beautiful landscape, offering new perspectives of the valley and surrounding mountains.

Once we reach the starting point, we will take you to a local restaurant in Mollepata to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. The meal is included in the tour and offers a delicious selection of traditional Peruvian dishes, allowing you to sample the local cuisine.

Return to Cusco

After lunch, you will return to Cusco. The return trip will take approximately 2 hours.

You will arrive in Cusco around 4:00 p.m., where you can rest.
